Poke Api
A SwiftUI Pokédex, now being rebuilt with Swift 6 and tests.
-
Challenge
My first native iOS app, a Pokédex on PokéAPI. A review found what it lacks for production: wrong height and weight units, 20 requests in a row, force unwraps and no tests.
-
Approach
I’m rebuilding it on the layers it already has (@Observable view models, a repository, Swift Charts). The rebuild adds Swift 6 strict concurrency, parallel loading with TaskGroup, SwiftData offline favorites, search and type filters, and a team builder with type coverage. Swift Testing and CI on GitHub Actions come next.

Result
Open source on GitHub. The rebuild is in progress, and its README will record each technical decision.
